Crochet

Believe it or not I had never crocheted before.  I had heard that crocheting was easier and faster than knitting, but looking at how beautiful the patterns came out I simply didn't believe it.  If you have ever tried to read a crochet pattern with no instruction it can be really intimidating.  I mean REALLY intimidating. With abbreviations for abbreviations intimidating.

My biggest piece of advice for anyone just starting out is to watch a video tutorial.  I am not good enough yet to start posting my own (obviously, because I just started yesterday and I am not magic). But b.hooked crochet is absolutely amazing and easy to follow.  I love her videos because they are very thorough and she explains things very well.

I am still trying to get the hang of this but check my labels for crochet projects!
